Now, looking to expand the user base, Tweetie for Mac has recently been launched. Apart from looking stunning, Tweetie for Mac has some really great features, for instance, full conversation support, multiple accounts, threaded DM's, endless preferences and much, much more. So to celebrate the launch of Tweetie for Mac, we are giving away one copy to one lucky reader of our site. Speed!

What's this? The site loads in under a minute if at all?! No, it's not your eyes, We've changed server! Amazing Coder was recently contacted by Sean McRobbie about swapping advertising space for hosting, we happily agreed. Now, we're hosted on a TrafficSites.co.uk server based here in the UK and you can certainly see the difference! Best of all? It's all at no cost to us! With only an hour or so downtime, The whole site was transferred without a fuss and they run DirectAdmin, which means both me, and Luke understand the admin panel and there is no learning curve, meaning we can focus more on the content. (speed also helps to make that quick edit!) We hope you enjoy the new speed and no longer get frustrated about the loading times. So, one big thank you to Sean would be great, You can find their site over at http://openitc.co.uk/

Oh hey there!

Hello and welcome to Amazing Coder! We're so glad to be back with all new content, writers and design! It certainly has been a long time since we've posted here and for that, we're sorry.

First, if you haven't been here before, Amazing Coder aims to provide you with insightful, interesting and helpful posts about coding. We talk about many different languages, what they do and how to use them. We get people interviewed to tell us how they use the languages and we provide you with competitions and prizes, stories and news from the world of code. We also aim to provide inspirational mixes with design and code in our Gallery (coming soon) and provide a way of learning new things. (even if you've never coded before)

If you've been here before though, I'm sure you've noticed, we've got a whole new design! This has been the most important part of the re-launch, after the content. We've spent many hours working and fine tweaking it to what we want and enjoy writing for.

Secondly, We've got a much bigger spotlight on the actual content, rather than other things. We thought you'd like this, it's much easier to follow long posts or read content. We've also worked on the font for a while and we all personally think it's much easier to read than the previous version.

The other big update is we've got a whole new motion on how to run the site. Now this is mainly behind-the-scenes but you can see it in many different ways. Firstly, we're looking for new writers all the time, We love our close knit community, but it's nice to have a change from time to time. Secondly, we're on twitter! Come say hello and see what goes into making the site and any updates we make, no matter how big or small.

We've got some new features and parts to the site that we are rolling out soon, including meet-ups, competitions, interviews and much more. We really have put a lot of effort into the site and we hope it shows. The site will be updated in a few hours with our first post, so keep an eye out for that.

That's just about it for now, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has done any work on the site, no matter how big or small and you're work is greatly appreciated. If you have any comments on this, our design, or new aims, please click below and leave a comment, good or bad. We look forward to seeing your feedback.

Love,
The Amazing Coder team.
