jQuery is a freely available, extremely extensible library of javascript actions, effects and more, and is written with it’s own API of sorts, that means that instead of writing lots and lots of standard javascript code, you can use a shorthand version that reduces the time you spend writing code, but produces some awesome effects.

Not content with having the best CSS editor around (CSSEdit), Jan Van Boghout of MacRabbit fame set out to destroy Coda and own top spot for the best XHTML, XML, CSS, JS or XSL editor and FTP Client around. Currently in public beta, Espresso is lacking some of the promised features of the GM release (such as “Sugars”, Espresso’s extension interface).

What's this? The site loads in under a minute if at all?! No, it's not your eyes, We've changed server! Amazing Coder was recently contacted by Sean McRobbie about swapping advertising space for hosting, we happily agreed. Now, we're hosted on a TrafficSites.co.uk server based here in the UK and you can certainly see the difference! Best of all? It's all at no cost to us! With only an hour or so downtime, The whole site was transferred without a fuss and they run DirectAdmin, which means both me, and Luke understand the admin panel and there is no learning curve, meaning we can focus more on the content.
